What type of wood species are used for paddle making? I use white ash as my paddle shafts. I find them to be a nice grain, nice to work with and finally strong yet has good flexibility. I also use a combination of basswood, black walnut, cherry, maple and cedar for the blades. 

How long does it take to make a paddle once I place my order? It takes about 2-3 weeks for me to produce the paddle.

How long does it take to make a cutting board once I place my order? It takes about 1 week for me to produce the cutting board.

Can I have a custom message added to the paddle? Sure! Contact me and we can chat about what you want and the cost. 

Are the painted paddles for decoration only? No. They are painted with a marine grade paint so take them to the lake!

Can I pick the wood I want the paddle made with? Sure. Contact me and we can discuss the options.
